Illusions cloud mind when consciousness is seen as something rare and unaccessed, and so precious than other details. Discernment requires a connector between various aspects, so appreciation between possible between variants. Quantum mechanics is one such field that clouds mind. Read on to know more.

"The breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness."
— Thich Nhat Hanh
This is Blog Part 2 to Part 1: /blog/breath-is-not-air-it-s-the-interface-between-reality-and-illusion
Blog Part 2 starts from 'quantum effects' as mentioned in this video:
- Interoception. People who practice breathwork for long would have their nervous system atuned to better interoception, but there needs to be a balance between interoception and exteroception, else one could get lost in the inner world to the exclusion of external, and a 50:50 balance is necessary. Interoception could become like an infant discovering it has stubs at the end of its hands by which it can do things; its a part of the body's natural abilities, and being aware of it shouldn't become 'the next big thing' phenomenon to the exclusion of everything else, as it would imbalance the status quo of daily everyday functionability. It makes human life and experience better, but it shouldn't be like 'the next big thing' that jostles the boat to imbalanced life and evolution therefrom.
- Quantum (10:46). "Breath as a mechanism by which consciousness chooses reality." Reality is hardly understood. People tend to think reality to be a set of facts and figures, tangible even. As the word suggests, reality is 'real'ity - real with a reason y for it (information technology); there are continuous processing of information in the background that forms the datasets that conscious brain tends to think of as reality. When background information changes, such as with emotional or poor health states, reality as perceived changes, unless there is a process by which reality can be assessed for health and background information checked for cause of distortion. Deja vu, jamais vu are all names of mental states affected by glitches in 'reality' and vuja de is a word for being in the freshness of 'reality' as a momentous freshly lived experience - again a perception matter with respect to 'reality.
- (12:21) Consciousness isn't a field. It is one of the aspects of mind and there are conscious, subconscious, unconscious, supraconscious layers. Consider them to be dynamics of timespace - 4 kinds of them - within the fabric of your mind and is related to your body and lived in experiences. They may sometimes seen psychedelic, as mentioned in this video, but there are endocannobinoid processes within the body's physiology that shows up in many ways when physiological states such as breathing is altered. Endorphins, for example, alter state of consciousness after a good workout and consequences in actions from maybe a happy state as a result.
- (14:38) "If the brain truly behaves like a receiver and consciousness is the signal, then breath isn't the message; breath is the tuning dial." Tuning could happen to fields outside the body, like a radio would to frequencies, and you are likely to think of stuff that aren't yours, not your memories, much like a hacker hacks into someone else computer, like an energy vampire, like a scavenger eating food/information that doesn't belong to them. Information overload is a natural consequence, and entanglement and getting caught up in stuff that doesn't belong to you. It's also called distraction, and you would live your life lesser and lesser. Somatic mutations could happen from these distractions. Entanglements happen by you being unaware of your behavior patterns or deficits/imperfections or from others energy vampiring you, and detangling is required regularly to maintain being healthy, reduce distractions and to mind your own business of everyday living. That is where dis-ease/disease-free living begins - self maintenance.
- (18:46) The exercise has counts and is sufficient to get a person to a psychedelic/trance state coz it would alter consciousness, awareness would sharpen, thoughts would reduce, but so would a psychotropic drug. Getting healthier is the goal or at least going beyond a challenge, not get into a newer one, and this trance states could get habitual, if not addictive, and endocannobinoids could be like a drug without taking external drugs, just as well another 'problem,' like addition to masturbation and that alters consciousness and ability to choose healthy as well.
- (19:23) "as thought stumbling through the dark toward something ancient." Archeologists inquire into the ancient too, but have a means to stay in the present because of colleagues maybe, because of the tools they use to stay in the present civilization. Technologies of the past may seem alluring, but they have gone out of use for a reason by Intelligent Design. Without discernment of what is safe, how to appreciate good and bad/healthy from unhealthy, getting into trouble is more likely.
- (22:07) Thoughts are, indeed, yours. There are echoes of thoughts from other people, thoughtlines that may not be relevant to you, but they are there for you to be aware of, pay attention to because they came to your awareness and so may be relevant to you. You may need to choose to act upon them once their importance is discerned, and so awareness helps notice what is there in the present. However, discernment of how you are aware of them is important. Meaning, do you access them or are they thoughts that come to your awareness. The difference is between you 'doing' something to have them versus thoughts being there for you to look, observe and act upon if that is what is required. Else, you may be putting a cog in the wheels of what is not to be meddled with, and you would have karmic consequences.
- (22:24) Every inhale doesn't necessarily increase order. Every exhale does not necessarily release noise. Shortness of breath requires sufficient inhalation to improve volume and a balance between inhalation and exhalation is required for a sense of wellbeing where inside is not necessarily only noise that needs to be regularly released. Too much of anything imbalances the equation, and happiness is a fine balance between several complementary opposites.
- (22:39) "Grid behind experience." Experience need not be a fleeting thing to be experienced but a grid itself from the repertoire of past experienced bouncing off of which a present-moment experience makes sense.
- (23:43) Time doesn't obey. Time is something you become aware of in cyclical rhythms, rhythms of many kinds and in many patterns. It is not be meddled with and made to function in your command, for that would be putting a cog in several wheels and you would be bearing the consequences by paying a toll on health, wealth and/or wisdom, and you would wonder why things happen to you (even if positive) because what goes around comes around, and something positive happening to you may be something out of turn that you then need to work with, such as a blessing or curse are also energies that you need to process at whichever time they come, much like food for stomach, thought or experience.
- (24:05) "You are not inside the world. The world is inside your breath." Not true. Breath is a connector between voluntary and involuntary and dynamics that is also your life. The world does shift from your perception of reality shifting, and so the world as perceived by you changes. The world is not inside your breath.
I'd be glad to answer questions.
