Known concepts of truth? We'd all love the comfort of familiar, but what if the Emperor's robes aren't fitting the form coz the child has grown up? We'd just have to upgrade the interior decoration of our rooms and playthings to befit our current stage of development, yes? Read on, if you'd like to get out of your comfort zone.

"I think the universe is pure geometry - basically, a beautiful shape twisting around and dancing over space-time.
— Antony Garrett Lisi
"Arithmetic is numbers you squeeze from your head to your hand to your pencil to your paper till you get the answer.
— Carl Sandburg
Ours is a human economy. Has been since some time. Since at least the fifth mass extinction event gave rise to humans over several cycles of evolution to the point that the dinosaurial tails got tucked into the human morphic form we have. The fourth mass extinction event in the Late Triassic Era is said to have begun reduction of male genes in Y chromosomes from 900 to 55 in the current human population.
The point is, we have a human economy and human ways of thinking. Our geometry (measurement of Earth), algebra (babel of languages) and arithmetics (measurement of truth) is based on calibration tools invented by humans with human perception of how things are, what things are, where things are and with available resources for gauging truth of anything.
'What in human is Earth doing?' is a fair enough question coz Earth is doing things we can only guess or gauge with available means of measurement or appreciation. This has been the truth since some time. Our evaluation of what Time is is still in debate (we don't really know what Time is; some even think Time don't exist or its an illusionary/imaginative construct with human capacities...I think that thought line comes from humans gone out of Timespace coordinate to something spaced out..like clouds with points of reference gone skew..there's even the concept of skeuomorphic; how do you know you haven't made a mountain out of a molehill, which would be more like the truth in that it would be a zoomed in version of the truth, but what if you have the six-blind-men-and-the-elephant syndrome?).
Let's take the concept of a point - a single point or dot - like Earth has been described as the pale blue dot of the night sky by Carl Sagan. We're all standing on this pale blue dot and wondering what on Earth is that dot we call a star or planet or galaxy. And think 'I don't know.' Knowledge, then, would be like a donkey stepping up on sand(of time) thrown at it to come out of a ditch {we do have Andromeda Galaxy at different stages of merging with Milky Way} or an earthworm digesting the matter of soil/what is known into better substance (ledge that could be stood upon) and then stepped on that better substance before digesting another piece of information into tangible not-going-to-shake-anytime-soon substance (which may be how continents we are standing upon formed over time since man first walked the Earth; meaning, we may have been underground-dwelling human-like things that could then come out of underground dwellings and face the light of sun/truth and not hide as our delicate bodies got baked into the shape and colour we have across the globe). That's how a staircase formed - from stepping on one substantial height at a time until we have multi-storey buildings today. Leaning Tower of Pisa also is a multistorey building.
Time to upgrade our foundations..Basics..so our babel of languages (algebra) and arithmetics and geometry (how we measure what Earth is doing) gets better so mathematical problems get better? Our health, wealth and wisdom - our human economy (ecological systems from nomy or nomenclature/names...by suboptimal contemplation on names..naamasmaranayoga) - could do with an upgrade of our dictionary meanings? After all, ancients say dharmasya moolam arthah...arthah refers to meanings. The Hard Problem Of Consciousness has had a problem with how meanings change observed phenomena and the concept of 'Reality' has been elusive.
Clearly, this author has worked upon these details?
